Six Years Too Long
Dallas 9/11 Truth - 6th Year of War with Iraq - Commemoration
“North Texans for 9/11 Truth” joined The Dallas Peace Center in observing the 6th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq on Saturday afternoon, 3/21/09, in downtown Dallas.
A group of about 60 people attended a screening of a portion of the Robert Greenwald film “Rethink Afghanistan” and panel discussion at the Dallas Public Library. Thirteen members of the Dallas based 9/11 Truth Group were among the attendees.
Following the panel discussion, there was a silent march from the library to the Earle Cabell Federal Building. Participants wore black during the march as a way of remembering the many lives that have been lost during these six years. A group
of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) members participated in the march as well as members of North Texans for 9/11 Truth.
Many people in downtown Dallas received 9/11 DVDs and newspaper-sized flyers during the event. 9/11 Truth ends the wars.
