Pictured above is Gregory Hoover, the man responsible for filing federal litigation against Glenn Beck and Fox News as a result of their defamatory statements of June 10th, 2009 and prior characterizing those who question the government's official version of the events of 9/11 as, "anarchists," "terrorists" and as persons denying the Holocaust. http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20090612231403677 _________________ http://www.meetup.com/wearechangeflorida/

Last Day of School
I know it was good for me to be in Downtown Palo Alto on June 11th, to do my usual Listening Project, despite the hectic demands of that day, following the High School Graduation Ceremony and frantic preparations for my son Jeremy's Eagle Scout Ceremony. We were deluged by people, particularly young people celebrating the last day of school, and I was delighted to have the company of my friend Chuck, who had just returned from Ecuador.
It is the love of family and friends which helps us through periods of depression, when the pain of life or death knocks us off our feet. Aside from the Listening Project, I withdrew from my usual activism in June to fathom the shocking suicide of a 17 year old girl that I knew. There was a series of teenage suicides which upset the entire community, but hit family and friends the hardest.
These girls from Palo Alto High School were particularly interested, responsive, and supportive of our action and the conversation. I also thought that if we had more meaningful conversations, in general, that we might also prevent more suicides.
