Here's what we posted. It was a good run, and we served a purpose. Time to kick back and enjoy reality tv like everyone else, I guess

We here at Truth Action Ottawa would like to give everyone an update as to what's been happening with TAO and the direction we've decided to head in with regards to the website, the monthly truthactions, and the guest speakers that we've been bringing to Ottawa.
After 4 years of handing out 300+ DVDs every month to the general public in conjunction with the International "Eleventh of Every Month" Campaign at Truthaction.Org, we have decided to finally end the monthly truthactions.
The international campaign has wound down, and since Feb 11, 2011, it appears that Ottawa is the only city left still going out on the 11th of every month. I have posted a question to the Truthaction.Org forums to find out what's happened, but after two months it still has not been responded to. As a result, we've decided that it's time to take a break from the monthly truthactions and wait to see if the international campaign starts up again.
With that said, we'd like to thank everyone who's come out over the last four years and contributed with their time, their energy, and their donations of blank DVDs, envelopes, labels, etc. Even if you only came out once or twice to join us, it was greatly appreciated.
We have completed four solid years of consecutive truth actions, handing out tens of thousands of DVDs in the process and that is something we can all be proud of. We have definately made a difference locally, as our last few truthactions found more people who were already aware of the 9/11 truth movement than people who weren't aware. I would like to think that we helped make that happen with our tireless commitment to gathering once a month every month, for the past four years. We have decided that it would be better to pause for now and preserve the integrity of what we have accomplished rather than continue in a sporadic and uneven fashion.
We will maintain our website and this mailing list in case our situation changes and we feel we can re-establish the legitimate, science-driven face of the 9/11 truth movement in Ottawa. In the meantime, we hope that you will continue reaching out to people you know and people you meet. From all of us here at Truth Action Ottawa, we'd like to say thanks again for all of your help. This mailing list will be maintained in case we decide to jump back in and resume handing out discs, so please keep yourself subscribed. You never know what might happen in the future, and if we do decide to get back into the truthactions, this will be the mailing list that we send to first.
